I want to take some words here to commemorate the beginning of a new era for my pursuits. I have been making many things happen for some time now and this is going to be the year I get all my interests their fair share of attention. I believe time management is going to be the key to that particular goal. I read this great article in Wired Magazine's January 2009 issue, Diary of a Self-Help Dropout by Chris Hardwick. He writes about his successes and failures using the techniques developed by three separate time management gurus in their respective books. Long and short of it, once you've got those tools at your disposal, you can mix and match techniques to get your desired results.
Time isn't the only thing I intend to manage more thoroughly. My workflow, my project data, even my personal belongings and clothes just simply need organizing and space management. This is why I love computers and Ikea. Both allow you to put an enormous amount of stuff into a small amount of physical space and you get to build both yourself! I enjoy building things. My need to create more, I need to do more to make my artistic whims more accessible.
I really liked the idea of getting a huge warehouse office space with my friends a whole lot. I had an office on Hollywood Boulevard during the summer of 2008 and enjoyed working there, but not having company there was a real drag, espicially sine I was going to trek there everyday from home; where I am never alone for long. A group environment is many steps closer to the ideal situation I imagined for myself. The people, I already get along with on the regular. Plus, it gets me out of the house everyday to make loot. I also realize a benefit to me and the artistic comunity if I do more collaboration works with other artists of other genres. I got the idea from artists such as Midzt and The Seer, who have taken their specialized talents of painting (Midzt) and glassblowing (The Seer) to crossbreed an entirely new art form entirely. I also intend to look thoroughly into openFrameworks and invest in some equipment to push the envelope.
My business is going to become official soon enough. That is another goal of mine for the time frame of 2009. I intend to perfect the juggling of all my projects and tighten deadlines. Better scheduling now comes back into play. In order to be the serious artist I aim to be, I must be more prolific with the time and energy I have. It's important to me considerring how long my to do list is.
I also intend to get an intern for this year. Sum-In-One might know someone who wants to learn and help me get stuff done. If they do a great job, they might even get paid since more money is coming in faster. It would be awesome to have help getting menial tasks done. That would leave more time for more creative pursuits that the intern could also partake in. I have a whole lot of painting to get done, too.
Seeing the Dahli and Max paintings at the art auction on the New Year's Eve cruise I went on was awesome! It totally inspired me to do more of it to boost recognition in the art world and for my own soul's well being. I am always happier when I paint. It is kind of an emotional experience for me. Makes me feel alive. Creative. Full of purpose. I wanna sketch something out now! Thanks guys! That helped a ton! To be continued with a progress report.

Update
Hi all! It's been some time, but my friend, NoHoJax, reminded me I even have a blog here.
I thought I would start with some of my more recent endeavors. I have been blessed with a great word-of-mouth network of customers that has a strong root in my best friends' projects and extends to more customers that were recommended by friends; who later became friends themselves. I have been hooking people up under Nuwud Multimedia. It is still being put together as an official business, and is closer than ever before.
There are several websites that are new to the Nuwud fleet, and I will tell you a little about each of those projects. These are not in any particular order, since everyone is important to me.
Urban Underground Weekly is an event held every Friday at The Airliner in Los Angeles, CA. It was organized by my great friends, Jeanine Strong (Jiji) and Michael Corvington (Leviathan) over 2 years ago under their company, Urban Beat Productionz. I undertook the design of their website, UrbanUndergroundWeekly.com and am close to done. It, like so many of my more recent websites, is constructed of the Content Management System (CMS), Joomla.
Joomla is a highly developed PHP/MySQL dynamic website structure that can be uploaded and installed on to the server of your website. Once installed it communicates directly with the server through, the language, PHP and dynamically loads information from the MySQL database. The database stores your information online and dynamic means it can be retrieved instantaniously where ever designated. Joomla also allows for use of gadgetes and programs within it by way of extensions, including different web templates that you can create yourself, download, or purchase memberships to template clubs. My point is that it is a great tool for getting the ball rolling on a website. But don't let the price tag of these open source tools fool you, if you want more than a cookie cutter looking and working site, you need some serious research under your belt. Even the basic set up needs the same kind of attention as an "old-school" website, like the ones I used to build from scratch. Nothing comes easy, I just make it look that way. :)
TammyJaneCosmetics.net is a cosmetics line created by Tammy Jane Filor. Tammy was recommended to me by Memo Salon, another client of mine whose website is now finished. Tammy Jane Cosmetics' site is going to be an e-commerce site for retail soon, but the core of the website is complete already. We are waiting on new product photos to update the site with and then th e-commerce portion will commence.
AzadiFitness.com belongs to Sheetal Narsai. She has been a serious blessing in my life and was introduced to me by my friend, Didi, whom I met in college. She's been a great friend and helped me get back in shape and eat properly after I spent years in front of a computer screen perfecting my craft whilst neglecting nutrition and exercise.
JLeeCouture.com is one of my oldest customers and dearest friends. Here website has undergone some updates recently to include some of her latest fashions. She is so darned creative!
I started on ACDSP.com for Advanced Computers Designed. They provides solutions for computer construction, network implementation and Security. It's core is done. More to come on that one.
Fatbol.net is a great E-coomerce retail web site that I am particularly fond of. Their gear is simple, yet kewl. Those guys in Humboldt are awesome!
Phadestar.net is the site of my best bro, Phadestar. He DJs, Produces, and is a prolific poet. You definitely wanna peep his stuff!
Phadestar's parents have a glass construction business, Coast to Coast Glass Corporation. I've known them since I was 12 and even did some work for them on occassion as a youth. I built Ctcglass.com for them. They are really excited about their new online presence.
I am undertaking a new project, Temple-Effectives.com. I have worked with them for years on a variety of things. Until recently they have always had someone else working on that website, although they did link me up with Revision Hockey to construct the roller hockey website, RevisionHockey.com. I am excited because I have been wanting to work on this website for some time. I will post on the updates.
My friend, Courtney is a yoga instructor and I built CourtneyHarmsYoga.com for her. It looks very sleek and gives info about her and has some really amazing photos.
Long time friends, Mobius, Leviathan, Seer and Sum-In-1 commissioned MetamorphsHipHop.com for their group, The Metamorphs. They are a successful HipHop group and even appear on one of their music videos, "Smooth & Collective"; which can also be seen at Nuwud.net in the video panel on the right.
GotchaPartyCovered.com is another relatively new one for a party throwing service geared at over-worked mom's that still want to throw birthday parties for their kids.
VIPbartenders.com caters to private parties of the highest calibur. With a variety of hot models and party styles to choose from, including body painted servers, you can definitely count on them to make that party you are throwing a huge success!
That covers some of the major web developments I've worked on most recently and am excited to be working on. I'll share more next time!

Random Thoughts on Sunday Morning
Good morning,
There's no master plan to this blog, but I felt like rambling. Here it goes:
I'm excited about the cruise I'm going on. After a long, drawn out stint with the DMV, I finally got my driver's license back in my possession. They sent it to the wrong address in January. Go figure. Having the driver's license makes it easier to get the passport. Which makes it easier to go to the Caribbean! This is great! I have always wanted to go on a cruise. The details have yet to be furnished since it's my Dad's treat. Way kewl, huh? I wonder if this means I have to wait longer for my powerbook? I always get useful things on my Birthdays and Christmas. Things I can use for my business so that I can work for my own.
Nuwud.net is doing great! I have a huge list of clients now. Huge relative to a one-man-show. I've been giving relativity some thought lately, but that I'll get into later.
My current web clients include:
So, needless to say, I have a lot on my plate and I love it! Hit me up some time.
